Full Day

Shire Horse 

Experience

Every booking is a personalised & bespoke, hands-on experience.

Suitable for everyone - no previous horse experience necessary. Enjoy a range of activities, depending on the time of year and your appetite!

A full day with the horses gives a true understanding of what it is like to work the farm in a traditional way.

Half Day

Shire Horse 

Experience

Spend a morning or afternoon learning about the majestic Shire horse, their history, temperament and how we harness and traditionally work them on the farm.​ This is a hands-on experience - you will be working the horses! Suitable for everyone, no previous horse experience necessary.

Carriage Rides

Enjoy a private Shire horse carriage ride through the beautiful west Gloucestershire countryside.​ Starting from Coldcroft Farm or an agreed location, a bespoke carriage ride can be created for any special occasion, a truly memorable experience.

Training

Spend up to a week with us here on the farm, giving you the chance to not only learn about the Shire horses but to really start to develop your skills working them. The training we offer can accommodate the complete novice through to advancing existing skills.
